Pathfinder Church is a Free Methodist congregation in Hilton, NY, committed to helping people of all ages walk their path toward Jesus. We offer ministries for kids, students, and adults, creating spaces where everyone can grow, serve, and find community.

We meet every Sunday Morning at 10am.

Our heart for mission extends far beyond our walls. We support missionaries around the world, and our Senior Pastor, Pastor Darlene, travels to Africa every year to partner with local churches and communities in sharing the hope of Christ.

Whether here in Hilton or across the globe, our calling is the same: to love God, love people, and serve our community with the compassion of Jesus.

To LOVE GOD With All Your Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength.

We have intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Our love for God defines our character and fuels our calling. We are rooted in a love for God’s Word.

Story

Get to Know Us

Pathfinder Church has been serving the Hilton, NY community for over a century as part of the Free Methodist Church. Our building originally housed Crosspoint Free Methodist Church, which opened its doors to LifeQuest Community Church—a congregation that had been faithfully setting up and tearing down worship each week for more than a decade at the Hilton Community Center.

For a season, both congregations worshiped separately under one roof. But in 2024, sensing God’s leading and recognizing that we were stronger together, the two churches united as one family.

Today, we are Pathfinder Church—a single congregation committed to helping people walk their path toward Jesus. We believe we are better together, and together we are reaching the people of Hilton with the hope and love of Christ.

Meet The Team

Pastor Darlene Simpson

I'm living proof that God has a sense of humor. Who me?? A Pastor?? I was raised Roman Catholic and my roots have helped my fruit. I am passionate about the mission of Jesus to bring all into the Kingdom of Heaven. I am still a work in progress and love that I get to journey with the people of Pathfinder Church

I love fishing, (both in the water and in the world) boating and getting my hands dirty in dirt and renovations.

I'm looking forward to being at the rowdy table at the banquet being prepared for us in the Kingdom. Maybe we will be sitting together. :)

Pastor Rob Dickerson

Rob is married to Terri Dickerson, and together they have served in full-time ministry for nearly three decades. They have ministered in Hilton, NY since 2008, where they planted and pastored LifeQuest Community Church for 17 years before joining with Crosspoint Free Methodist to form Pathfinder Church.

Before their time in Hilton, Rob and Terri served as youth pastors in Spencerport, NY; West Milford, NJ; and Columbus and Bellefontaine, OH. Rob is soon to be ordained as an elder in the Free Methodist Church. They have four adult children and are joyfully anticipating becoming grandparents in Spring 2026.

Rob enjoys the outdoors and leads wilderness trips each summer in the Adirondacks. He’s also an unapologetic superhero and sci-fi fan—interests that often sneak into his preaching. 😉
