What is Aslan's Explorers?
Aslan's Explorers is a nonprofit ministry for Kindergarten through 6th Grade Boys & Girls in the United States. It is inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
Aslan's Explorers meets every Wednesday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm October 8th - May 27th.
There are 4 clans in Aslan's Explorers:
Fauns: Pre-K; Beavers: K-1; Mice: 2-3; and Centaurs: 4-6
All clans are together for opening and closing, worship, game/activity, life skills, and snack. Clans meet separately with their Clan Leaders for lesson time (Fauns have playtime with their leader during lessons).
Court of Honor Nights:
At the end of the month we have a Court of Honor Night. CoH nights are run a little differently than lesson nights. Instead of a lesson, Clan Leaders will ask each child to recite their Bible verse from the month and to demonstrate the life skill. We will also have a longer game time to celebrate their hard work, and end with the Court of Honor ceremony where the children will receive a stamp in their passport for knowing their verse and life skill. We invite parents to arrive around 7:40pm to watch the children receive their passport stamps they love this part!). See calendar for dates.
Outings:
Each quarter, we will have a special outing on a Saturday or Sunday that families are encouraged to attend. The dates for these are on the provided calendar.
